Introducing our founder Paul Mahon
Paul has been in full-time ministry for over 35 years. He started ministering at the age of 19 with the home church in China. From there he worked on staff with a college in Vancouver for three years before going to Uganda, Africa to oversee leadership training.

On coming back to Canada, Paul and his wife Emmeline were interim pastors for 3 years at Glad Tidings in Vancouver. For the last 16 years they have pastored Cariboo Road Christian Fellowship in Burnaby, B.C. and grew the congregation and ministries throughout the years to a church of 700 attendees.

The highlight of this season was developing a means of effectively using the resources of the church to be a B1:10 church. For two years they saw 60 baptisms a year and a retention rate into discipleship of 90%.

Paul stepped down in September of 2021 to focus on helping other churches see the same fruitfulness that they have experienced.

Paul was educated in Business and Accounting in New Zealand. He has Associate Degree in Pastoral Theology and is currently in the final stages of a Post Graduate Diploma with Regent College.

He and Emmeline have 3 young adult children and reside in Surrey, B.C.
